Michelle Garvey went missing from New London, CT on June 1, 1982. People thought she ran away from home. On July 1, 1982 her remains were found in Houston, Texas. She was buried, but her identity went unknown. In 2014 she was found to be Michelle through DNA testing.
Michelle Garvey June 3, 1967 - July 1, 1982 Montville - Michelle Garvey, 14, passed away July 1, 1982 in Texas. She was born June 3, 1967 in New Jersey, the daughter of Patricia (Mallon) Dragon Garvey and John M. Garvey. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother Sean Garvey and by her niece Failynn Garvey. Michelle is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, in Belfast Ireland, North Carolina and Canada. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 1, 2014 at St. John Church, 22 Maple Ave. in Uncasville at 10 A.M Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery in Montville.
