He was born in Oakley, Idaho, the last of twelve children. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was raised in San Diego; joined the Air Force during World War II, "which began a 30-year career as a bomber pilot and flight instructor."
He loved to travel, play tennis and racquetball, fix cars and do home repairs for his family and neighbors.
Survived by his wife; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
The funeral and interment were held Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the Val Verda 8th Ward Chapel, 2651 N. 500 W. Bountiful.
