WAYNE D. SEIPLE SR., 60, of Wilkes-Barre, died suddenly, Monday in Michigan. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Harold Elwood Seiple and Margaret (Davis) Seiple. He was a graduate of GAR High School and attended Penn State University. Mr. Seiple was a former member of Welsh Bethel Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre. Wayne was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was presently employed by Schneider Trucking, Carlisle. Surviving are his wife, the former Joy Shiver, Montgomery, La.; sons, Wayne D. Jr., Carrizo Springs, Texas; Marc, Bolivar, Tenn.; Matthew, Montgomery, La.; one granddaughter.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with services at the Leo P. Lehman Funeral Home, 689 Hazle Ave., Wilkes-Barre. The Rev. Don Hartshorne will officiate. Interment will take place in Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 9 p.m.
