Elin Carolina Johansson was born Febr. 5 1876 on Mill Street No 3 in Forsvik Undenäs parish Västergötland Sweden, by father Johan Fredrik Johansson 1845-1924 Katrineholm Södermanland, and mother Carolina nee; Johansdotter 1850-1892 Karlsborg Västergötland.
The family was blessed with seven children, three sons and four daughters.
Her father worked at the mechanical workshop who belonged to the iron mill in Forvik, and her mother was a housewife.
In Sept 1889 the family moved to Karlsborg, about 8 miles from Forvik, where they settled down in the fortress when her father got a new job at the mechanical workshop who belonged to the army.
In the early 1900 she met her boyfriend and later husband Lars Louis Kristofferson from Nås parish in Dalarna.
Ellen passed away Oct 30 1966 in Rainer Thurston County Wasington USA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Herbert 1903-1958 Ashford WA and Helmer 1917-1952 Nashville TN,three brothers, Gustav Ångström 1871-1948 Bromma Stockholm Län, Helmer Johansson 1885-1934 Hallsberg Närke, Evald Johansson 1892-1962 Stockholm, and one sister, Ms. Anna Johansson 1874-1961 Lund Skåne.
She was survied by her husband, one son,Henry 1905-1971 Fallbrook CA, four daughters, Mrs. Olga LaPore 1907-1994 Lacey WA, Mrs. Dorothy Pawlak 1912-1998 Tacoma WA, Mrs. Ellen Olson 1913-1984 Corvallis OR, Mrs. Margaret Hartline 1919-2003 Bellingham WA, and one sister, Mrs. Laura Roswold 1889-1975 Seattle WA, and a lot of relatives in USA and Sweden.
