During the end of WW I he served as a PFC of the 304 FLD SIG BN of the 79th Division. Did Paul Kikkert fight in France or Belgium??

Paul Kikkert died in July 1949 at the age of 53 years, very probably in Highland, Lake County, Indiana. His widow Cornelia Kikkert lived in October/November 1956 still at 3414 Condit St., Highland, when her son Paul Kikkert married to Anne Stewart of Hammond. Cornelia died in February 1996 at the age of 92 years, very probably at her last residence place in Highland, Lake County, Indiana. Their son Paul M. Kikkert had meanwhile died too.
