Mitchell Scot Alday, 58, of Hopkinsville, KY., formerly of Shelbyville, IL., died at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at his home of natural causes.
Scot was born April 28, 1955, in Wichita Falls, TX., the son of Barbara Rosemary McIntyre Alday and the late Charles Leroy Alday.
He was retired from the US Air Force with the rank of Major.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Vicki Alday; and brothers: Lee Alday of Omaha, Neb.; and Grant Alday of Shelbyville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father, and also his brother, Drew Alday.
There will be no immediate services at this time.
