Richard W. Schroeder, 82

Services for Richard Schroeder, age 82, who died Monday, October 19 at the Good Shepherd Home were held Thursday, October 22 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Richard W. Schroeder was born on November 20, 1909 at Fullerton, Nebraska, to Henry and Anna "Heltenberg" Schroeder. He attended school in Fullerton, Cedar Rapids and Fremont, Nebraska. He moved to Blair with his parents in 1942, at which time he was called into the Army during WWII.

In 1970, he moved to Herman and farmed there until moving to Blair in 1992. He had been a member of the NFO.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Raymond; one sister, Katherine, and one nephew, Daniel.

Surviving him in death are his sisters, Veronica, Mrs. Rudy Fuhrman, Herman, Nebraska, and Marian Schroeder, Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
