Bomb Group.

Killed when U.S. Army Air Corps LB-30
Liberator #AL-527 crashed on takeoff at
March Field, near Riverside, California, due
to engine failure.

The four-motored bomber lost altitude and
collided with a bluff just beyond the runway,
killing all aboard:
