Rosie Louise Wright was known by many names: Rose, Bae, Mommy, Mother, Grammy, Gran-Grammy, and she always signed her name "Rose Bud." Regardless of what we called her, a Rose by any other name is still a Rose. Roses come in all different colors and styles, and have several differrent meanings. Roses go through the winter months and seem to be displaced, but they always bounce back in the spring. Rosie always seemed to be in the winter season of her life. Almost everything that she encountered seemed to bring forth trials. However, she was a warrior in those times, and had faith to know that no matter how bad the winter was, spring was coming! This is why she chose Rose Bud as her signature. Rosebuds always bloom in spring!

Rosie looked forward to the new things that were promised to her by God, and she displayed this through her faith in Him. Rosie's spring has come! God has moved her from her winter season and taken her eternally into spring.

Sunrise for Rosie began January 11, 1938 in Columbus, Mississippi. She was the firt born child of Mollie and Luther Harris, Sr., both of whom precede her into His presence. Rosie's sunset set arrived on March 22, 2005. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Wright: her children, Earlean Harris(Columbus, MS), Binica Harris(Jackson, MS), Claudia Harris(E.
