Jason Scott Honsowetz was born 31 May 1966 in Bremerton, Kitsap, Washington to Ged William Honsowetz (1940-1989) and Judy Lee More Honsowetz.

He was the youngest and had two other siblings: Ged Robert and Michael Earle.

He graduated from Bremerton High School in 1985 and married Deena Annette Shaw on 9 Aug 1986. They had three daughters: Jessica Ann, Amanda Lee & Samatha Lynne.

His early years of employment were spent as an Iron Worker. He loved being a part of the making of huge buildings; of being high in the air, looking out over the world. He also had a son: Caleb.

He married Paris Lynn McDonald on 1 Jul 2003. In Jan of 2004 he sustained an occupational injury whereby he fell and sustained permanent damage to his ankles. Around 2006 he became a Chemical Dependency Professional, volunteered at and then was employed by the county at Kitsap Recovery Center. He found great joy in helping people re-find direction in their lives. In 2010 he graduated from Olympic College.

He died on 4 Feb 2013 at the age of 46. Scott loved living in the Pacific Northwest and being in the Olympic Mountains with all of God's creation.
