Paul Edward Prock entered this life on September 4, 1935 in Fannin County, Texas born to Charles Andrew and Myrtle (Jaggers) Prock and entered into the Gates of Heaven on December 26, 2013 in Durant at the age of 78.
Paul graduated from Whitewright, Texas High School and he attended Southern Methodist University. After the death of his first wife Mary Ellen, he married Joyce Boughman on July 21, 1973 and they moved to Bryan County in 1989 from Dallas, Texas. Paul retired from Santa Fe Railroad after 17 years. He was a member of Armstrong Baptist Church and he enjoyed reading and was a published poet.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Marry Prock and infant son; brother Melvin Prock; mother in law Doylene Hubbard and nephews Andy and James Prock.
Those loved ones left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of forty plus years Joyce Prock of the home; children Kennith Prock and wife Mary of Calera and Paula McClure and husband Anthony Stone of Sherman; grandchildren Khailia Duncan Tyler, Cory Prock, James Prock, Rachel Prock, Damien McClure and Drayton McClure; great grandchild Dakota Duncan; brother Charles Prock and wife Betty; sister in law Opal Prock; father in law Henry Hubbard and sisters in law Eula Mae Boughman and Wilene Hubbard.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Monty Wood officiating.
