Earnest Dean Towles
Earnest Dean Towles, 61, of Owenton, died Sunday at the New Horizons Medical Center in Owenton. Born May 26, 1943, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest A. and Lina Mae Clifton Cannon.
She was a retired secretary for the Kentucky Department of Social Services in Owen County. She was also a member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, David Towles of Owenton, James Towles of Ft. Pierce Fla., and Robert Towles of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Carl Cannon of Carrollton; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Faye Cannon; and a brother, Kerry Cannon.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Main Street location of McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home with Bro. Jesse Bourne officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
