He was born in Standard, Utah to Wilburn Henry and Thusnelda Hunter Mills.
Married Merry LaVange Draney, October 2, 1961 in Ely, Nevada. She died February 27, 2009.
Gary was a lifelong resident of Carbon County where he retired from the Carbon County Road Department. He shared a love for the outdoors, camping, golfing and riding 4-wheelers. Gary was a friend to all and the memories shared with him will be cherished forever.
Survived by two sons and one daughter, Gary D. (Terri) Mills, Barry T. (Karon) Mills, Heather Mills, all of Price; grandchildren, Daneesha Mills, Tonya Mills, both of Salt Lake City, Brandon Mills, Kearns, Natasha Olsen, Castle Dale, Zachary Garmann, Joshua Mills, Randi Garmann and Alexis Allard, all of Price; numerous great-grandkids, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by parents, wife, LaVange; sister, Gaylene (Martin) Ballard; and nephew, Mike Ballard.
Graveside service, Friday, January 3, 2014, 2:00 p.m., Price City Cemetery. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price Friday one hour prior to services.
