Aged Couble Pass Away
Dietrich William Hinrichs
Seldom have we chronicled the passing of both parents from a home within such a short time. The family had returned just 30 minutes from the sad mission of putting away their mother when death again enter their home and call the the aged father to join his companion of almost 60 years.
Mr. Hinrichs had been a sufferer and invalid for months and his death was not on unexpected. He never knew his wife preceded him to the grave. He was born in Burhaven Oldenburg Germany, on Sep. 10, 1838 and at the time of his death was 86 years 5 months and 6 days old. The funeral occurred Tuesday afternoon Feb. 17 at 2 o'clock service is being conducted by Rev. J. C. A. Pfenninger. To the family in their double bereavement we extend heartfelt and sincere sympathy.
