Mrs. Blanche Gregg Funeral Held At Osage January 16

Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Gregg, 89, of Osage, who died Monday, January 14 at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital, were held Wednesday, January 16 at Our Savior's Lutheran church, Osage, with the Rev. Joseph Nesheim officiating.

Mrs. Gregg was born November 14, 1895 in Mower county, Minn., the daughter of Warren and Nancy (Blighton) Padelford. She married Alva Gregg in Lyle December 22, 1914. They farmed in the Lyle area and Mr. Gregg operated a service station in Lyle for many years until they moved to Osage in 1972.

Mrs. Gregg is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Laurice (Lois) Maakestad of Osage; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Golda Duesler of Laguna Hills, Calif, and Mrs. James (Beatrice) Mann of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, Myrle Padelford of Gridley, Calif.

Burial was in Rose Creek cemetery, rural Austin, Minn., with Rev. Nesheim in charge of the committal services.
