He was born March 8, 1895 in Ottumwa to Frank and Ollie Jane Huddleston Lunkley
A resident of Ottumwa most of his life, he was a retired employe of John Morrell & Co. where he worked for 44 years in the mechanical department.
He move to California 13 years ago.
Survivors include his wife Zona; two sons, Thomas Lunkley Jr. and Lawrence Lunkley, both of Long Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Gose of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one brother, John Lunkley Sr. of Ottumwa.
His first wife, the former Edna Jennings, and one son died earlier.
Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Memorial Lawn cemetery.
