Audrey Gilmore, daughter of the late Clarence and Dicy Gaines Wooley, was born in Dexter, Mo. on Oct. 1, 1937, and died at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Mo. on Dec. 22, 2013, at the age of 76.

She had lived in the Dexter and Bernie areas most of her life. She was a member of the Vinson General Baptist Church.

On April 6, 1961, she was married to Homer Nordin, and he preceded her in death on April 17, 1996. On April 4, 1998, she married Buddy Gilmore, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 2000.

Surviving are one step-daughter, Sue King of Sikeston, Mo.; five step-sons, Wayne and Billy Gilmore both of Broseley, Mo., Bobby Gilmore of Canalou, Mo., Rick Gilmore of Bernie, Mo., Roger Phillips of Millington, Tenn.; many step-grandchildren and many step-great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by a sister in infancy; one step-daughter, Peggy Bess, and one step-son, Sam Gilmore.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Mo. with Rev. David Looney of Bloomfield, Mo. officiating.

Interment will be in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Mo. with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Mo. in charge of arrangements
