Jessie Crayne Pollock, 93, of 403 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 1978, in The Medical Center, Beaver Falls, following a long illness.
She was born December 29, 1884, in Morgan Township near Jefferson, a daughter of Jacob H. and Rebecca Bosworth Crayne. Her husband, Grover L. Pollock, died February 10, 1964.
Mrs. Pollock was a member of the United Methodist Church at Zollarsville and East Franklin Grange 1709, Waynesburg.
She had resided most of her life in the community of Marianna and since 1959 at Waynesburg. For the last few years she had made her home with her son, William H. Pollock of Waynesburg.
Surviving are one daughter; Mrs. Homer (Louise) Beglin, Negley, Ohio; one son: William H. Pollock, Waynesburg; five granddaughters and 12 great-grandchildren.
One sister, Ida, two brothers, Dave and William, and one grandson are deceased.
