Massachusetts, USA
Death: Mar. 26, 1794
Stafford
Tolland County

Hannah Alden, great-great granddaughter of John Alden, Deputy Governor of the Plymouth Bay Colony, married Joshua Blodget on 2 November, 1749 in Stafford, Tolland, Connecticut. Their intention to marry had been published the prior April, 1748. The Reverend Eli Cotton presided over their marriage.

Joshua and Hannah had 14 children: (and perhaps others but not verified to date) all born in Stafford:

Huldah Blodget 19 Jun 1750 - 8 Jul 1835 - M. David Lillie
Joshua Blodget 4 Feb 1752 - 29 Apr 1753
Abigail Blodget 11 Oct 1752- 30 Sep 1757
Joshua Blodget 2 Oct 1753 - 1 Aug 1761
Joseph Blodget 10 May 1754 or 1757, settled in Greenwich, MA
Benjamin Blodget 18 May 1755 or 1759
Abigail Blodget 10 Feb 1761 - 23 Oct 1843 (LINKED) M. Daniel Moulton
Hannah Blodget 23 Sep 1762 8 Dec 1840 M. Ebenezer Thresher
Elanor Blodget 6 Jun 1764 28 Mar 1853 M. Daniel Abbott (LINKED)
Olive Blodget (twin) 14 Mar 1766 M. John Riddle
Alden Blodget (twin) 14 Mar 1766 (LINKED)

Verified Births of Above per Connecticut Town Birth Records, pre-1870 (Barbour Collection) for the town of Stafford and Connecticut, Births and Christenings, 1649-1906 - FamilySearch.org

Lewis Hatch, in 1938 his hand-typed genealogy 'Branches of our Family Tree: with charts' tacked on a few names of supposed children of Joshua and Hannah - direct citations not linked to facts. Other children not proven or innacurately linked so far are: Alden, Ezra, Eli, Olive, Daniel. MOST of the references (see EZRA, BELOW) he provided did not offer any further proof of those children having been connected.

EZRA DOCUMENTATION:

The 'Ezra' that matches the person connected here is likely a son: while no birth record has been located, an abstract of a family bible, acceptance by the Mayflower Society, and 'family word of mouth' from another FindAGrave member (owner of Ezra's page) is some verification. Ezra's death record, while stating his birth as Massachusetts, was probably not provided by anyone who knew the 'facts' as his parentage is noticeably missing from the 'live' document. The 1850 Census for Florence, St. Joseph, Michigan for this person (with wife Cynthia) says he was born Connecticut, and considering the source, is probably spot-on accurate.
