BALTIMORE - Word has been received of the death of JAYNE VIRGINIA BARD, 89, of 701 Cathedral St., on Nov. 15, 2001, at her home. Born Dec. 25, 1911, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Reuben Franklin and Grace Stouffer Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. "Bob" Bard, on April 1, 2001.

She retired from C&P Telephone Co. She was a member of Washington Square United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two nieces, Dorothy Seal of Ellenboro, N.C., and Jayne Angle of Smithsburg.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Leah Cooper Bloyer, and a brother, John F. Cooper.

Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
