Mrs. Patsy Sessions, age 62, of Lovelady, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. She was born November 10, 1951 in Houston County and had lived in Lovelady for many years. Mrs. Sessions was retired from Texas Department of Corrections with over 20 years of service and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Patsy was a volunteer for The Houston County Historical Commission for several years. She worked on honoring World War II Veterans from Houston County by posting their photographs on The Findagrave Website.

Survivors include daughter, Monica McShan; son, Michael Sessions; sister; grandchildren, Michael Joe Sessions, Kaitlyn McShan, Ashley Sessions, Caleb McShan; great-granddaughter, Addi Sessions; beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband of 31 years, Marvin Sessions; parents, Odell and Frankie Thornton; sisters, Karen Kenner and Rebecca Ramirez.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Sessions will be held Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Percilla Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Gene Kellum officiating.
