Norman C. Hall
LAKE CITY - Norman C. (Chum) Hall of Warren, formerly of Manton and Lake City, died Friday, June 18, 2004 at the home of his daughter in Warren. He was 93.
He was born Sept. 1, 1910 in DeKalb, Ill. to Ambrose and Catherine (Boddy) Hall.
Mr. Hall belonged to the Operating Engineers Local 324 for more than 50 years. He worked as a crane operator for Lewis-Garbalia and Toby Construction Company.
He enjoyed working hard and loved his family very much.
Survivors include his son, Norman R. (Doris) Hall of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Catherine L. (Dallas) McDaniel of Flint, Alice E. Jones of Manton, Janet E. (Tom) Drew of Newport, Carol L. Raimondo and Diana L. Hall both of Warren; sister, Helen Swanson of Lake City; 26 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; son, Robert C. Hall; daughter, Patsy Ann Hall; his parents; brothers, Ambrose and Harold Hall; and sister, Josie Gallop.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Young Funeral Home in Lake City with Mr. James Siler officiating. Burial will be in Lake City Cemetery.
Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
