Services for Everett Tuttle of Summersville were Wednesday, May 3, at the Midvale Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Emmett Bradford and the Rev. Pat Cronk officiating. Mr. Tuttle, 58, died April 30, 1989, at his home in Summersville from cancer. He had been a truck driver until his health forced his retirement. Born Jan. 31, 1931, at Summersville, he was the son of Gloster and Alice Cooper Tuttle. He married Carol Fiske Dec. 9, 1978. They had two children. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Selma Tuttle and Daisy Kirkman. Surviving are his wife, Carol of the home; three children, Alisha and Scott Tuttle of the home and Kathy Gordon of Holister; his mother, Alice Tuttle of Summersville; two sisters, Lillian Terrill and Betty Sherill of Fenton; and one brother, Herbert Tuttle of Summersville. Burial with military honors was in the Summersville City Cemetery under the direction of Bradford's Summersville Funeral Home.
