JONES, CECIL FRANCIS - age 72, of Strawberry Plains, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013. He was retired from Rohm and Haas after 35 years, and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church and a 50 year member of Masonic Lodge #588 of Kodak, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Drinnen Jones; infant daughter, Robin Lynn Jones; and parents, Ernest and Ruth Jones.

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Jennifer Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Joe Cate; grandchildren, Whitney and Kelsey Cate, Kathryn and Andrew Jones; brother, Roger Jones; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jo Ann and Bob Ogle, Dorothy and Ron Takacs, Bonnie and Earl Keck, Mickey and Ken Wittenbarger, Mary Lou Lauderdale; special friends, Billy Russell and Roger Rule; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beech Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 337 W. Mount Rd., Kodak, TN 37764. Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Friday at Beech Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Compton officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Pollard Cemetery.
