Grace T. Boling, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Asbury Place. She was a member of Piney Level Baptist Church, was a very devoted RN at Blount Memorial Hospital for 30 years as an obstetric nurse. She loved the Lord, her family, her neighbors and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Boling; son, Al Boling; stepson, Mack Boling; sisters, Clara Myers and Eunice Reed; brothers, Carson Tipton and Hugh Tipton.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Phillip Johnson of Maryville; daughter-in-law, Melinda Boling of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Zachary Johnson, Brooke Sherrill (Joe) and Bobbi Boling; great grandchildren, Oliver Sherrill and Jacob Sherrill; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Thelma Tipton and Bruce and Sue Tipton; sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Cliff Reed; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Macht officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Piney Level Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
