Wilma Mae Spady, 93, died Oct. 27, 2011.
She was born June 24, 1918, in Orestes, Ind. The family moved to Oregon when she was 13. She graduated from Madison High School and in 1938 she married Carroll Barnes.
Wilma worked as a nurse and receptionist for many years. In 1961 she married Walt Spady. She loved to garden and cook, and was dedicated to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walt; son, Jerry; and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Bertha Mann; sons, John, Joe and Jim Barnes; sister, Julia Luse; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at noon, Nov. 2, at Skyline Memorial Gardens, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., in Portland.
