MRS. CLARA SWETLAND
Mrs. Clara Miller Swetland of Union died Sunday afternoon at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Marjorie) Bovan, of Binghamton; two granddaughters, Barbara and Patricia Bovan, also of Binghamton; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Roberts of Candor and Mrs. Bernard Hutchinson of Newark Valley; four brothers, Herbert and Robert Andrews, both of Candor, Hiram Andrews of Melbourne, Fla., and Herman Andrews of Palm Bay, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Swetland was a member of the Endicott Women's Club, and was a former school teacher in the Tioga County school system.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the Allen Memorial Home, Endicott. The Rev. Richard Schultheis, D.D., pastor of Vestal Park Memorial Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor.
