On 15 April 1910 Serick Ponsler [Pontsler] (36), wife Clara (30), children; Bernice (8), Dean (7), Floid (4) and Clement (16/12) lived in Endicott Precinct, Whitman County, Washington. Serick and Clara had been married 10 yrs.. He was a carpenter. They owned their home.

In January 1920 Samuell Andrew (43), widowed sister Clara Pontsler (39), Clara's children; Dean (16), Clement (11), Clifford (9), Bernice (17) and Samuell and Clara's sister, Elizabeth Andrew (50) lived in Ephrata, Grant County, Washington. Bernice's uncle Samuell was single and a wheat farmer.

Bernice A. Pontsler married Harry M. Parker on 24 April 1920 at Spokane, Spokane County, Washington.

On 2 May 1930 Harry's parents, Harry M. Parker (40), Bernice A. (28), children; Fern M. (9), Evelyn B. (7), Harry E. (4+6/12), Frances M. (2+) and Everett D. (11/12) are living in Old Dominion Precinct, Stevens County, Washington. Harry's parents owned their home and were farming.

On 10 April 1940 H. M. Parker (50), Bernice A. (38), children; Evelyn B. (17), Harry Eugene (14), Frances M. (12), Everett D. (10), Alice Lee (6), Doris R. (3) and John S. (1) reside on Echo Road in Echo Precinct, Stevens County, Washington. H. M. was a logger at the time of this census.

Visitation for Bernice A. (Pontsler) Parker, 96, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Service is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Ephrata (Wash.) City Cemetery.

Mrs. Parker, a longtime Spokane area resident, died Monday.

She was born in Frankfurt [Frankfort], Ohio.
She was a homemaker.

Her husband of 25 years, Harry, died in 1945.

Survivors include six daughters, Alyce Hamilton of Spokane, Barbara Parker of Deer Park, Fern Walton of Rathdrum, Idaho, Evelyn Sublie of Kettle Falls, Wash., Frances Broadbent of Carmichael, Calif., and Doris Siever Kropp [Sieverkropp] of Ephrata; a son, John Parker of Cheney; 22 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
