She was born May 11, 1908, in Oklahoma City, Okla. She moved to Grants Pass in 1970 from Richmond Calif. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by husband of 58 years Wendell Forney of Grants Pass, daughters Ruth Scott of Clayton, Calif., and Barbara Cox of Caldwell, Idaho, sons Philip Forney of Saugus, Calif., and Stephen Forney of Los Angeles, 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
