Mrs. Harvey lived in the same house in Lewiston for 57 years, following her marriage to Dave C. Harvey at Clarkston on Aug. 12, 1924.
She was born Oct. 10, 1899, at old Meringo on the Tucannon River, near Dayton, Wash. She was the daughter of Amon K. Biddison and Nevada (Fowler) Biddison.
She was a stepgranddaughter of Noyes Holbrook, a Lewiston pioneer for which the Holbrook Island on the Clearwater River was named.
Mrs. Harvey was raised in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley, except for a short time at Moscow and Juliaetta.
She graduated from Clarkston High School in 1920. She also attended Ellensburg State Normal School and Lewiston State Normal School. She taught at country schools near Clarkston for two years.
She also took practical nurses training at St. Joseph's Hospital, finishing in 1952. She worked at St. Joseph's for 15 years.
She was a member of the Auxiliary of Hells Canyon Barracks of World War I in Clarkston.
Her husband died on Feb. 25, 1976. One daughter, Lucille, died in 1977. One grandson died in 1967. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Crayton, Noyes, Floyd, Elmer, and Lewis.
