Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Echtenkamp of Wayne, Nebraska, were held on Wednesday afternoon at the Wayne Lutheran church.

Mrs. Echtenkamp, as Emma Schmidt, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 28, 1868, and came to Nebraska with her parents at the age of six years. She lived here continuously until 1900 when she moved to Wayne. She was stricken suddenly on Sunday evening while sitting at the supper table and died suddenly.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son and two daughters, one son having preceded her in death ten years ago, and one daughter who died two years ago. Two brothers, Henry Schmidt and George Schmidt both of Arlington, and one sister, Miss Louise Schmidt of Roseburg, Ohio.

The pallbearers were all nephews and were William Schmidt and Harry C. Schmidt, both of Arlington; W. G., Ed, Albert and Harry Echtenkamp, all of Wayne.

Those attending the funeral services from here were Henry Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. George Schmidt, Harry C. Schmidt, Mrs. Emil Just, Mrs. Leo Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidt, Mrs. Edna Schmidt, Mrs. Henrietta Smith and son Harry, Mr. and Mrs Fred Smith, Mrs. Anna Giesselman, Mrs. Lois Wallingford, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Echtenkamp, Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Echtenkamp and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Echtenkamp.
