Mrs. Noland's Mother Buried At Wanette
Funeral rites were held at the Wanette Chapel Saturday for Mrs. H.C. Boggs who died here Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.E. Noland. Mrs. Boggs, 83 years old at the time of her death, had lived here the past seven months and had been critically ill much of the time.
Harriett Caroline Jackson was born September 5, 1858 in Tennessee. She was married to Hunley Campbell Boggs October 8, 1882 and to them eight daughters and one son were born. She united with the Primative Baptist church at Mulberry, Ark. in 1891. Her husband and four daughters preceded her in death.
Survivors include the five children: Mrs. I.T. Aker and Mrs. H.F. Doss, Oklahoma City; Mrs. L.E. Garrett, Marlow, and Mrs. Noland and J.C. Boggs, Carnegie.
Also three brothers and three sisters: J.D. Jackson, Ada; John and Ed Jackson and Mrs. Ida Sorrell, Wanette; Mrs. Florence Snodgrass, San Antonio, Texas; Mrs. Eva Brock, Chicago; 25 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
