Mrs. Mary H. Addleman, wife of Robert Addleman, died about the hour of 5 o'clock Monday afternoon, at her home on Susquehanna avenue, after an illness covering a period of a week, although she had been in ill health and a partial invalid for several years prior to her demise. He age was 69 years and 9 months.
She was a daughter of the late James and Nancy Ann Anderson, and was born and reared on the Anderson homestead near Rockton. She was united in marriage to Robert Addleman in 1876. Prior to the family coming to Curwensville some 24 years ago, the deceased and her husband lived in Pike township, adjacent to Lumber City river road.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Addleman, two sons, William and Frank Addleman, all of this place, and one daughter, Mrs. W. W. Robison, of Jersey Shore.
Mrs. Addleman was a woman of fine christian character, and loved her home and children so devotedly that one seldom found time to leave her home in other hands ? her own to remain absent therefrom for any length of time. For many years she was a consistent member of the Methodist denomination and was always found in the house of worship when her health permitted her so to do.
The funeral will be held from the Susquehanna avenue home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. J. M. Brennan, pastor the the M. E. Church, assisted by Roy ? Fincott, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating at the services. Interment of her remains will be made in Oak Hill cemetery. Mrs. Addleman is the last representative of the James Anderson family.
