UNION FURNACE: Vivian Michel, 80, of Union Furnace, Ohio passed away December 2, 2013, at her residence, Union Furnace, Ohio.
Vivian was born July 4, 1933, in Haydenville, Ohio to Wilmut A. and Ruth Agnes Vermillion.
She was a member of Longstreth Weslyan Church for many years, then became a member of Union Furnace United Methodist Church, worked at Smead foer 20 years, and enjoyed being a homemaker and a mother and grandma to her family.
Surviving are her children, grandchildren, sister, brothers, many nieces and nephews, special friends; and was a grandma to many children in her community.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Michel; brothers, Lloyd, Vic, and Cher Vermillion; and sisters, June Gessells and Kathy Chaffin.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 6, 2013, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral, Logan, Ohio.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio. Calling hours will be observed Wednesday, December 4, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, December 5, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
