Betty Jean Renwick

Services will be Feb. 4 for Betty Jean Renwick, who died Jan. 22. She was 88.

A native of Kansas, Mrs. Renwick lived in Watsonville all her life and attended Watsonville High School.

She was a bus driver for the Pajaro Valley Unified School District for 32 years and was an active member of the Watsonville First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Renwick was best known for making cookies for the local fire and police departments, and she enjoyed making quilts for newborn babies at Watsonville Community Hospital, family said.

She was married for 49 years.

SURVIVORS: Sons James, Paul and Robert; daughters Karen, Kathy and Kristeena; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Feb. 4 memorial service at First Baptist Church, 101 Madison St., Watsonville.

CONTRIBUTIONS: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to First Baptist Church Missions Committee, 101 Madison St., Watsonville, CA 95076 or that people bake cookies for the fire or police departments.
