Rev.Baker pastored United Methodist Churches in the state of Indiana, which included Shelbyville, Muncie, North Vernon, Rushville, Terre Haute and Riverside United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, where he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Waneda Baker; daughters, Linda (Thomas) Hawkins, Jeanetta Moore, JoAnn (Thomas J.) Crain and Judy (Michael) Moore; sons, Albert (Theresa) Baker and Robert (Patricia) Baker. On Monday, November 30, 2009 visitation will be from 10 a.m. until Noon in Barnes United Methodist Church, 900 W. 30th Street, with services at Noon.
Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to Stuart Mortuary.
