Sandy was a girly girl with a passion for high heels, teased blonde hair and lipstick. As much as she loved shopping she also enjoyed fishing and hiking even going as far as Mesa Verde. She spent time collecting arrowheads around the Gunnison area and photographing Indian pictographs. She was also passionate about her pets and was the mom to many memorable cats and dogs.

Surviving Sandy is her mother, LaVeta Sangosti; sisters, Shelly Sangosti and Selma Eastman; brother in-law, Brent Eastman; nephew, Blake Eastman; and niece, Stephanie Dawes. She also leaves behind three step-daughters, Camille and Nicki Williamson and Gerilyn Kruthaupt.

Bright and energized she was a force to be reckoned with and will be remembered as such.
