Parsons, W. Va. - John Lee Wade, 94, of 218 Pennsylvania Ave, died yesterday in Memorial General Hospital, Elkins, after an illness of a few days.
Born in Randolph County, March 8, 1877, he was a son of the late John and Amanda (Bonner) Wade.
A step-son preceded him in death.
He was a retired lumberman.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Minnie Jane (Bodkin) Wade; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Arnold and Mrs. Hazel Kepner, both of Canton, Ohio; three sons, Carl L. Wade and Ralph D. Wade, both of Canton, and Harry Wade, of here; a step-son, Ivan Bradshaw, Ridgeley; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Greenlief Funeral Home, here, where friends will be received.
Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home by Rev. Meade Gutshall.
Interment will be in Parsons City Cemetery.
