Dorothy Blankenship Wagoner Barrow, 87, of Spencer, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Martinsville. She was born in Henry County, March 9, 1926 to Clarence and Ida Wright Blankenship. She retired from DuPont after 30 years of service and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, H. Banner Wagoner; her second husband, Joe Barrow; her daughter, Linda White Hubbard; one sister, Isabelle B. Williams Milam and one brother, Shockley Blankenship.

She is survived by one son, Henry B. "Butch" Wagoner, Jr. and wife, Carolyn of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Jerry and Charles White, Kim Phulgar, Drew Wagoner and Calena Wagoner; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Marvin Blankenship of Martinsville.

The funeral service will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Ramsey and Pastor Roger Jones officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Abbey. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 18075 Philpott Hwy, Ridgeway, VA 24148.
