Martha Henry Fontaine was the daughter of John Winston Fontaine by his wife Martha "Patsey" Henry daughter of Patrick Henry & Sarah "Shelton" Henry, Patrick Henry's 1st wife, after Sarah's death he then married Dorothea Spotswood Dandridge. She married 13 July 1797 @ Henry County, Virginia to Nathaniel West Dandridge, III son of Colonel William Alexander "Big Dover" Dandridge & Anne Blair "Bolling" Dandridge.
