Mrs. Robert Robertson, who has been bedfast for three weeks, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Greenfield, passed away Monday morning at six o'clock. Mrs. Robertson had an attack of flu in the spring from which she never fully recovered altho she was able to be up and around and did not complain. Her death is not only a loss in the family, but takes from Sabetha a good citizen, a fine neighbor and a motherly Christian woman.

Caroline E. Belyea was born in Pronite, Ontario, August 29, 1836, and there her girlhood days were spent. She was united in marriage to Robert Roberson, on December 16, 1856 and they made their home in Benton County, Ontario, where they lived until 1861, when they moved to Benton Harbor, Mich. They came from there to Sabetha in July 1877, and have lived in or near Sabetha ever since.

She was a true and faithful Christian, becoming a member of His Church in early girlhood, and always active in the ministry of the living Christ. Her faith never wavered. She knew that He in whom she trusted would be with her all the way.

After a lingering illness her aged body gave up the struggle Monday morning, at six o'clock, and her soul passed on to its rich reward. Mr. Robertson having proceeded her, June 13, 1915.

She leaves to mourn her loss seven children, four having died in childhood. Those living are James Chattanooga, Tenn., William of Emporia, Kan., Louis of Holton, Kan., Star whereabouts unknown, Mrs. W.J. Eberly of Manhattan, Kan., Mrs. J. Greenfield and Mrs. W. Palmer of Sabetha. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two sisters and two brothers, and a host of friends and comrades in Christ.
