Birth: Sep. 29, 1922
Nassau County
New York, USA
Death: Nov. 13, 1922
Nassau County
New York, USA

He was the second of Amanda's three children to die in infancy (the name, sex, and burial place of the firstborn is unknown). Born at Nassau Hospital, he lived with his parents on Second Street in New Hyde Park and died there, age 1 month 14 days, at 10:15 p.m. of "acidosis due to marasmus" (malnutrition, or failure to thrive). He was buried at Greenfield Cemetery (location of plot unknown) 15 November 1922, and later moved to the present Stone plot purchased by his father in 1942.

(First name alternatively spelled "Philip," with one L, as on tombstone, but it is spelled with two L's on his birth and death certificates. It is presumed he was named after his father's older brother, Philip Nelson Stone.)
