Elizabeth Mae "Liz" Rivas, 67, of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013, at her home of natural causes. She had been under the care of Encompass Hospice.

She was born January 29, 1946, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Elbert Glenn Walden and Lois Mae Page Walden. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. She earned a Certificate in Clerical Studies.

Besides Idaho, Liz had lived in California. In Idaho, she worked for Circle Valley Produce as a truck driver, the best job there is. She was proud to say she was a ‘truck driver' for over 40 years.

She enjoyed lunch with the girls and cardio rehab. Liz enjoyed crafts of all kinds, a love for cats of which she had five at home with her, family barbecues, and gatherings of all kinds.

Liz was a strong willed, independent, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had the biggest heart ever.

She is survived by the following:
Daughters: Cyndi Lou Nieto of San Jose, California; Alycia Annette (Raymond) Beltran of Idaho Falls; and Dianna Michelle (Adam) Brown of St. Anthony, Idaho;
Sons: Ruben B. (Peggy Vada) Nieto Jr., Michael Anthony Nieto, and Benjamin (Katie) Gonzalez all of Idaho Falls; 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Liz is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Antonio Gonzales Jr.; a grandson,Elfido Ruben Carmona; a brother, David Glenn Walden and her grandparents.

The family will visit with friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls. Burial will take place in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
