Minnie Marie Pomeroy was the daughter of Arthur Leander Pomeroy and Mary Evelina Kingsbury. She was born in Cannonsville, NY in a home that was subsequently submerged under water when the Cannonsville Reservoir was constructed that flooded the land.

Minnie was a member of the "Pomeroy Singers", comprised of her and her siblings. Her father preached at tent meetings and churches across America while his kids entertained crowds with their amazing harmony.

After Minnie married Clinton Douglas Morris, she moved with her husband to a home in Sanitaria Springs, NY. Together they had two daughters. Mabel May (Morris) Webb and Wanda Marie (Morris) Albert. About 20 years after living in Sanitaria Springs, Minnie moved to St. Petersburg, Florida with her husband, her newlywed daughter Wanda and Wanda's husband Harry Albert, and also Wanda's father and mother-in-law, Bernside Conrad Philip Albert and his wife Nancy Anita (Sutliff) Albert of Afton and West Windsor area.
