W. M. (Billy) Napier
Jackson, May 24 - W. M. (Billy) Napier, 96. died here today at 2:50 p.m. He was a retired merchant and farmer and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters. Miss Florence Napier. Jackson; Mrs. T. C. Spencer, Jackson and Mrs. W. H. Shackelford. Van Cleve; a son, Harlan Napier, Boise, Idaho: 19 grandchildren and 32 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. (CST) Sunday at the Booneville Methodist Church in Owsley County by the Rev. Eugen Barber and the Rev. J. H. Burton. Burial will be in the Brandenburg Cemetery near Booneville. Pallbearers will be Edwin Shackelford, William Spencer, Norman Moore, James Medley, Hobart Campbell, Roy Moore, Bobby Medley and Johnny Adams. The body is at the Ray and Blake Funeral Home.
