FLORENCE " Funeral services for Mrs. Loretta Brooks Bhansi will be conducted 2PM Friday, March 25, 2005, at Effingham Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery, Effingham, directed by Smith™s Funeral Home, LLC of Florence.
Mrs. Bhansi, the daughter of the late Frank and Rosetta Brooks, was born in New York City. She died Friday, March 18, 2005.
Mrs. Bhansi was educated in the public schools of New York. She attended Effingham Baptist Church. She was married to Joseph Bhansi.
Survivors include her uncle, Prince (Minnie) Brooks; three goddaughters, Eauayjah Brooks, Neisha Brooks and Remell Lewis; six cousins, Clara (Legrant) Hennigan, Trula (Joseph) Brooks, Virginia Timmons, Addiefair (Zola) McMillan, OraLee (Vern) Brooks and Retha (Otis) Ross; two friends, Earl Jones and Hildra Nelson, a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
Family visitation will be Thursday, March 25, 2005, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. today at J.O. and Annette Smith Memorial Chapel and other times at 1707 Dylan Road, Florence.
