DEXTER ATKINS DIES UNEXPECTEDLY OF HEART ATTACK
Mr. Dexter Atkins, age 66 of Stanford, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home, Tuesday. Mr. Atkins, a retired carpenter, was a member of the Stanford Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Atkins, five daughters, Mrs. Stanley Hardin, Junction City; Mrs. Mildred Sprinkles, Cincinnati; Mrs. Eva Greer, London; Mrs. Margaret Jean Reynolds, Lexington; Eulla Fay Atkins, at home; nine sons, Columbus Atkins, Cincinnati, Logan Atkins, Stanford; Leroy Atkins, Harlan;: John Dexter Atkins Jr., Lexington; Gary, Ronnie, Donnle, Danny and Kenneth Atkins, all at home; 17 grandchildren, two brothers. Bill Atkins, Stanford, and Sam Atkins; Harrodsburg. Services will be conducted at 2 p. m. today by the Rev.: Paul Lawson at the Beazley and Raney Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Beazley and Raney Funeral Home.
