Sherman M. Yoder, 91, a resident of Wolford, North Dakota, died Monday at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. For many years he had spent his winters in Phoenix, and in Florida, but due to declining health had been staying at his daughters home in Conestoga.

He was the husband of Cleora M. Ropp Yoder. Born in Wolford, ND, he was the son of the late Aaron C. and Sylvia Renno Yoder.

He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Salem Mennonite Church in Mylo, ND. While residing in Conestoga, he had attended Life Fellowship in Conestoga.

Surviving besides his wife is a daughter, Elaine V. Yoder of Conestoga and three sons, Mark L., husband of Caroline Yoder of Hartville, OH, Millard A., husband of Joy Yoder of Queens, NY and Milford D., husband of Joyce Yoder of Wolford, ND. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Life Fellowship, 250 Meadow Lane, Conestoga, PA with the Rev. Marck Schlabach officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Funeral services and interment will take place in Mylo, North Dakota. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Northern Youth Programs, Site 306, Box 1, RR3, Dryden, Ontario, P8N362. Arrangements by the Kearney A.
