Mrs. Mary O'Doherty, wife of Capt. John O'Doherty, well known member of the city fire dept died this morning at her home at ?? Ave. Mr.s O'Doherty's death ?? by a complication of ailment ? an illness of about twelve ? duration.
Mrs. O'Doherty was 24 years old. She was born in Cleveland, a daughter of Mr & Mrs Anthony Mackin. For the past nine years, she had been a resident of Lorain. She was a member of LCBA and St. Mary Church.
The husband and two children; Mary Francis age 6 years and Eileen, age 2 are the surviving members of the immediate family. The father, Anthony Mackin, lives in Cleveland. Brothers and sisters are John Mackin of Lorain, and Anthony, Patrick & James, and Miss Nellie Mackin, all of Cleveland.
Funeral services will be held at 9am on Thursday and will consst of a requiem solemn high mass. The honorary pallbears will be two cousins names John Mackin, two cousins names Steve Mackin, William Mackin, and Steve Burke, the ast two named also being cousins of Mrs. O'Doherty. Active pallbearers will be patrolman Patrick Ginty, ex patrolman Michael MLaughlin, Martin Craven, Thomas Byrne, Patrick Hackett, and Patrick Kallahan. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery.
