Theresa S. (Dionne) Case, 66, of Bristol, beloved wife of Phillip Ronald Case, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at home.
Theresa was born in Edmundston N.B. Canada on March 9, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Leopold and Ida (Hebert) Dionne. She came to the U.S. after graduating from Cormier High School in Edmundston, and she also graduated from Tunxis Community College in Farmington. She worked at Travelers insurance Co. and at Aetna Insurance Co. Theresa was a member of St. Gregory Church, where she was a Eucharistic minister.
In addition to her husband, Theresa is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Christina Case of Middletown, Steven and Amanda Case of Bristol, and Daniel Case of Southington. She also has six grandchildren, Alyssa and Stephanie Case of Middletown, Allison and Adam Case of Bristol, Ryan and Aaron Case of Southington; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lilianne and Ronald Levesque of Edmundston N.B. Canada, Mona and Jeff Dill of Massachusetts; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Jackie Dionne and her pre-deceased husband, Claude Dionne, Donald Magella Dionne, Maurice and Beth Dionne, Gilles and Ginnette Dionne, Rino Dionne, Fernand Dionne and Lola all from Canada; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. from the O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, to St. Gregory Church, Bristol, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
